The
waving forms of this sculptural work are intended to suggest
the folded and flowing fabric as reproduced in Renaissance Marble
sculpture. The name 'Ribbon Cut' is a play on words relating
these shapes to Ribbon Cut Tobacco. The Briar grain is excellent,
and it is very clean with many fine straightgrains. The stem
is handmade of Cumberland. This pipe is a Group 4 size, has
good air flow and passes a cleaner.
