The
theme of this pipe is a continuation of the sculptural style
of the first two Giant Whirlwinds. Unique within this piece
is the presence of greater rounding of the forms to create flowing
organic shapes and suggest motion. An effect is generated that
leads the eye through the piece and its many angles. The red
colour has a strong impact as well, it's dramatic and it makes
the grain pop. All in all this is an intriguing sculptural work.
The
stem is black Acrylic with an Applewood and translucent grey
Acrylic accent. The Cumberland tenon can be seen through the
grey Acrylic which provides a subtle added visual depth to the
accent. This
pipe has good airflow and passes a cleaner.
